Timi Onafeso is a STEM Enthusiast, a public health and social innovation professional with 12+ years of experience working on education, nonprofit management, youth development, and health programs across West Africa and Southeast Asia. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health. She’s currently the Executive Director at WAAW Foundation, and a member of the 2024 African Union Commission (AUC) Task Force for developing Science Technology and Innovation Strategies for Africa (STISA) 2034 policy document. She’s an alumna of the President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Lagos Business School (LBS) Nonprofit Management for Senior Executives (NPMfEx), Kanthari Leadership Program India, African Civic Engagement Academy (ACEA) U.S.A, and Carrington Fellowship of the United States Consulate Nigeria. She envisions an Africa where every youth is an indispensable citizen, maximizing their potentials towards personal development, community development and nation-building.
