Her proudest milestone involves stepping out as a lead technical instructor, designing and facilitating an intensive Technical Support program that successfully guided a diverse cohort of students through their infrastructure learning journeys. Refilwe views tech education as the ultimate equalizer. As a WAAW Scholar, her long-term professional goal is to operate as an elite software developer and tech educator, creating custom applications to solve regional municipal problems while structuring accessible STEM pipelines for young South African women.
