Lindi Thabede has over 20 years of business and sales experience currently working for Thermofisher Scientific, a world leader in serving science as a District Manager for the Biosciences Division responsible for the African business based in South Africa. Efficient and effective in the development of growth strategies in partnerships, enabling stakeholders to meet goals and objectives. 

She believes in Africa’s innovative capacity and advocates Science, Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) education to develop future leaders that will be able to provide global solutions. Passionate about women empowerment within the sciences with a targeted focus on developing and mentoring women.   

She has a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA, and a Bachelor of Science Major in Biochemistry, minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech, USA with previous experience in teaching chemistry.
