Ingrid Tadiwanashe Taruvinga is a clinical pharmacy student driven by a vision of equitable healthcare access and structural reform across Southern Africa. Moved by how overwhelming and alienating the transition into advanced pharmaceutical sciences could be for incoming students, Ingrid co-founded a peer-led mentorship framework within the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Zimbabwe to provide academic stabilization and career strategy for younger students. As a WAAW Scholar, she intends to build beyond traditional dispensary roles, positioning herself to contribute directly to continental pharmaceutical policy, vaccine logistics research, and clinical education to ensure African nations build robust, self-sustaining medical grids.
