Anne Tayé Gbenou is an innovative engineering student in Bénin who approaches infrastructure through the lens of emerging technology. Her academic landscape expanded immensely when she crossed over into artificial intelligence, successfully completing both the intensive Summer School on Artificial Intelligence (EEIA) 2025 and the global online Women’s AI School. These programs gave her the coding foundation to see data as a building block for physical structures. As a WAAW Scholar, Anne plans to become a civil engineer specializing in smart, climate-resilient cities, integrating machine learning and robotics into urban design to create safer, technologically optimized public systems across West Africa.
