Esther Amusa is a visionary front-end developer and Civil and Environmental Engineering student at the University of Ilorin. Coming from a financially disadvantaged background, Esther made an intentional decision to break systemic limitations through rigorous academic service and engineering innovation. Beyond her core engineering curriculum, she mastered web development frameworks, utilizing her problem-solving skills to build responsive user interfaces. Growing up in an environment where safe, affordable housing and clean water grids were luxuries, her long-term goal is to work as a professional civil engineer specializing in designing climate-resilient, sustainable, and affordable infrastructure for marginalized communities. The WAAW scholarship gives her the financial runway to focus completely on this dual mastery of physical infrastructure and digital engineering.
