Daniel Sattizahn
Daniel Sattizahn is currently employed at Collin College in Plano, Texas, where he serves as the Director of the Honors Institute and is a Professor of Economics, primarily focusing on teaching Dual Credit Economics at various local high schools. He graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s in Politics, from the University of Notre Dame with a Juris Doctor, from West Texas A&M with a Master’s of Science in Finance and Economics, and is currently attending the University of Texas at Dallas to obtain a Master’s in Public Policy and a PhD in Public Policy and Political Economy.
In addition to teaching, he is a College Board AP Macroeconomics Reader and loves helping tutor students who are taking that course. He is also a coach at Victory Volleyball Club and an avid and involved volunteer in the elementary school ministry at CityPoint Church, in Allen, Texas, where he helps lead the Sunday morning services every few weeks. Education and learning are a passion for Daniel, and he finds ways to integrate them in all that he does.
