Dagmawit Andargachew is a passionate Full-Stack Developer, Data Analyst, and Software Engineering student at Adama Science and Technology University who fundamentally believes that code is a tool meant to lift others up. Her long-standing commitment to digital literacy began in high school, where she independently founded and led an active IT Club, partnering with her teacher to build a safe, structured space where students could explore web development and foundational programming. Now a core member of the Google Developer Groups (GDG) on campus, Dagmawit creates practical applications and manages data pipelines with clear precision. Through the WAAW scholarship framework, she intends to build and scale a tech-focused community structure designed to dismantle digital illiteracy and open clear tech-career pathways for young women across Africa.
