Celénia Da Silva is an artistic and deeply creative Architecture student at ISCTEM who views design as a powerful tool for social transformation and urban revitalization. By pure merit, she achieved the outstanding milestone of representing her province as a member of the prestigious Mozart Group, making her the youngest visual artist selected to work directly alongside the iconic Mozambican painter and muralist Sebastião Coana. Celénia channels this artistic intuition into her architectural studies, aiming to develop sustainable, culturally grounded, and impactful urban infrastructure that addresses pressing social housing challenges. As a WAAW Scholar, she looks forward to blending creative expression with structural engineering to design communal spaces that foster socio-economic well-being and elevate marginalized African communities.
