Teta Amie Liella is a mechatronics technology student and aspiring innovator who combines advanced automated engineering with creative, real-world execution. Her proudest leadership milestone was serving as an official Wavumbuzi Ambassador, where she took on the responsibility of mentoring high school learners to cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets, rigorous logic, and design-thinking problem skills. Amie views automated mechanical machinery as the key to economic self-reliance. As a WAAW Scholar, her goal is to step forward as a technology leader in East Africa, designing multi-disciplinary mechatronic systems and automated architectures that target critical community development and manufacturing challenges.
