Motunrayo Sanyaolu is an engineering student at the University of Lagos who focuses her research on embedded systems and hardware architectures. Her exceptional leadership capacity was proven when she designed, funded, and executed FemmeTech 2.0, an intensive six-week technical training boot camp that introduced fundamental tech, electronics, and hardware concepts to young girls in her community. Motunrayo matches this social drive with high-level technical ambitions. As a WAAW Scholar, she is training to become an elite embedded systems engineer, intending to create affordable, context-aware hardware solutions and smart instruments that directly address systemic challenges in African healthcare, infrastructure, and environmental sustainability.
