Esther Akampae is an analytical Level 300 Computer Science student at KNUST who pairs her passion for technology with a profound commitment to personal development and student advocacy. Recognizing that first-year female students faced severe imposter syndrome, systemic academic pressure, and distressing accommodation challenges when transitioning into university life, Esther organized and led a campus-wide integration initiative. Her team provided targeted peer-to-peer mentoring and structured navigation guides to help young women build academic confidence and stabilize their environments. Looking forward, Esther’s ultimate career goal is to work as a Software Engineer and Technology Educator, designing localized software architectures that directly expand economic, professional, and educational entry points for African women across the continent.
