Basemera Bushra Grant is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Makerere University while actively cross-training at the Edutech Bootcamp (Innovation Village) to master web design, generative AI, and digital strategy. Currently serving as the Treasurer for the United Nations Association of Uganda (UNAU) Makerere Chapter, Bushra positions herself directly at the intersection of medical practice and modern technology. She has already utilized her digital content skills to generate independent income on campus while advocating heavily for Sustainable Development Goals centered on public health and gender equity. Her long-term career vision is to pioneer a new standard of medical outreach across Africa, utilizing digital “edutainment” and social media architectures to transform community healthcare literacy.
