Wuraola Kayode
Wuraola Kayode is a skilled project manager and consultant with over seven years of experience in program management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. She is passionate about sustainable solutions in education, disability advocacy, Gender Equailty and youth development. A Psychology graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Wuraola is pursuing an MSc in Developmental Psychology at the University of Lagos. She managed the Mastercard Foundation-funded YAPPI initiative, engaging 37,000 Nigerian youths, and raised funds for 450 child amputees at The IREDE Foundation. She also pioneered Africa’s first disability-focused comic series, reaching 10,000 readers. Currently, she serves as the Program Manager at the WAAW foundation, coordinating STEM hands-on activities across Africa. Wuraola is a Fellow of GEDA Bootcamp and Heinrich Böll Foundation Green Academy. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she leans on podcast as a useful resource. Her work fosters inclusion, empowers communities, and drives meaningful change across diverse sectors.
