ONLINE STEM TEACHERS TRAINING

 

Participate in an 8-week online robotics training from August 31st – October 24th, 2020. The robotics training is designed for boys & girls between the ages of 8-18 years to gain practical experience in introducing programming language, carrying out computations to make decisions, and performing actions in the real world using the mBot and EV3 LEGO robots

GLOCAL CLASSROOM

The training will focus on enriching the STEM curriculum through innovative activities for students, available learning and teaching resources as well as enriching educator’s skills in engaging and motivating their students. The training aims to support teachers with a new and innovative approach to teach: The participants are offered pedagogical approaches towards STEM in education.

GLOCAL CLASSROOM

Are you a teacher who can teach virtual classrooms? Earn extra income.

Glocal Classrooms are teacher-led programs that connect Classrooms in the United States with Classrooms in Africa. Selected teachers and their students will be paired with peer teachers and students across continents in a one to one model that enhances multicultural learning. An Integrated, project-based curriculum that enhances collaboration will be provided. Classes are facilitated virtually on our platform via zoom or google meet.
Classes start June 2020 and usually run for a duration of 3weeks to 6 weeks, meeting 2 times a week for 1.5hours each meeting.

Are you a Nigerian in diaspora?. Teach your kids to speak Igbo or Yoruba language with fun and ease. Classes begin 1st June 2020 and may run for a duration of 3-weeks to 6 weeks, meeting 2 times a week for 1.5 hours each meeting. Classrooms have a maximum of 8 students (Ages 7 to 17 years). Focus is on individual attention and improved learning outcomes. Cost varies based on the classroom and age of kids.

SHE HACKS AFRICA CODING BOOTCAMP, RWANDA – APRIL, 2020

She Hacks Africa Coding boot camp is a one month intensive in-person training workshop for youth between the age of 17 – 35 years. Youths learn software programming and then practice what they have learned in project-based exercises that builds change makers and technology innovators and entrepreneurs.
