WAAW Foundation is partnering with the Armani Institute to promote their certificate course in the Practice of Social Entrepreneurship in starting February 7, 2013 at Nairobi, Kenya.

The course is supported by Ashoka East Africa, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership and Harvard Social Entrepreneurship Collaboratory.

Course Description
Leveraging the deep expertise in social cephalon modafinil buy online entrepreneurship held by the Amani Institute founders, this one-month certificate course in Nairobi will help participants understand the role of social entrepreneurship – with its focus on innovative approaches to finding systemic solutions – in addressing social challenges. The course will also explore the efforts of individuals from Kenya and globally to create effective responses to social problems, especially on their strategies and biggest challenges.

Also essential to social entrepreneurship is learning by doing. Thus, throughout the course, participants will be walked through the process of envisioning and crafting a solution to a problem they are passionate about, and will learn how to set up a new project or program to address that problem. In the process, the course will also help participants create their own social ventures or apply those skills into their current jobs.

The course will include case discussions, conceptual frameworks, hands-on prototyping, and interactions with experts from the field.
