Application for our 2016 STEM teachers training is open!



We invite secondary school teachers from Government or Public secondary schools across Nigeria to apply for our new and unique training module on Computer programming and STEM hands-on activities.

The training workshop will take place in Abuja, Nigeria from August 6-10, 2016.

During the 5-day workshop, teachers will learn how to build a robot, renewable energy system (solar and wind ) system, computer programming (SCRATCH, Arduino, Raspberri Pi, & Blockly), mobile app development, circuit design and explore relevant STEM activities, with the objective of discovering and mastering new tools and inquiry-based practices for STEM teaching and learning at school.

Who can apply?

The workshop is open to  secondary school teachers of STEM-related subjects  working across Public secondary schools in Nigeria.

There is no fee to participate in the training workshop. Teachers will be responsible for transportation, feeding and accommodation.
