Olanma Loveth Imo
Chief Operating Officer
Loveth joined WAAW Foundation in 2012 and has served as a volunteer, counselor and recently as STEM camp director. She leads the planning and organization of several WAAW programs including residential camps, teacher training, after-school programs and national STEM competitions for secondary girls. Loveth led the marketing efforts at WAAW foundation until 2016 when she took over as the Business Development Manager. She excels in program development, organizational and strategic planning, partnership building and fundraising. In June 2018, she was promoted to the position of Chief Operating officer having significantly increased the organization’s database, Designing and implementing business operations and Overseeing operations of the company and the work of executives. She completed the Mathematics for Sub-saharan African (MS4SSA) Program on teaching with technologies at Worcester Polytechnic Insitute, MA, USA. She manages the WAAW Foundation office in Abuja, Nigeria. Loveth graduated with honors in Geology and Mining (BSC) from The Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria. She is an avid reader and enjoys networking.
Lucy holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Delta State University, Nigeria. She joined WAAW foundation in 2014 as a fellow at Delta State University chapter involved in establishing the College-to-Secondary school Outreach in her University where girls were tutored and mentored on STEM Education. She also participated at the She Hacks Africa 3 weeks boot camp at Abuja, Nigeria in January 2017 where she learned was trained on Software Development. Lucy serves in WAAW Foundation as the STEM Trainer were she is responsible for facilitating training courses on STEM, computer programming and web development during training and workshops. She is also responsible for creating and updating curriculum. She re-engineered WAAW wind energy kit. She is a graduate of MASHAV Israel and where she completed an international professional course on STEM. Lucy is an advocate for STEM education and Girl-Child. She is involved in inspiring and motivating youth especially young Adolescent girls.
Faith is a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics. Faith volunteered with Mercy Corp as a Peer Educator under the Educating Nigerian Girls in New Enterprises (ENGINE) Program in Gombe State where she ensured in-school girls successfully transition to the next phase of their education while the out-school girls have the opportunity to build their functional literacy and numeracy skills, amongst others.
She joined WAAW Foundation in 2019 as an Admin Associate, responsible for the smooth running of all operations and programs. She is passionate about using data to solve problems and is also a voracious reader.
Ofonime joined WAAW Foundation in the year 2020 and participated in a 2 weeks SHE HACKS AFRICA Boot camp in Abuja, Nigeria. where she was trained as a software developer and later volunteered as a mentor on software development virtual Bootcamp. She is also a software advocate and passionate about bringing more women to tech. She is highly skilled in building software, I.T. products and services offering development, project & products management and in leading high-performing teams in the ideation and execution of impactful and scalable go-to-software strategies, She outstrips in Program development and organization and loves speaking in Tech conferences where she was nominated for global awards in women tech network. Ofonime has Masters in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.
Susan holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She is a certified Professional Project Manager, a Digital Marketing Strategist, a techovation mentor and is a Graphics Designer par excellence. Susan is an alumnus of She Hacks Africa Coding Bootcamp where she became certified in front-end and back-end programming, she is also an alumnus of Data Science Nigeria. She is passionate about educating and encouraging more females to take on the Tech field.
Sunday is an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, software training, and IT consultancy. A strong engineering professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Jos.
Since 2014, Sunday has been a Software Developer with experience and proficiency in both front and back-end development with deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, BOOTSTRAP, SCSS, UI Kit, XML, JQuery, AJAX, Python, PHP, Flask, Nodejs and Reactjs.
He is also a passionate software trainer and has trained over 4000 interns since 2015. He worked for Andela for 3 years as a mentor and trainer for the Andela Learning Community ALC and the Google Africa Developers Scholarship GADS which has delivered software learning to 33,000+ developers across 17+ countries in Africa. He has been part of many software training at nHub Nigeria, NTech Software (NPower), and meetups in more than 7 states in Nigeria.
Jonah is a Web Application Developer currently working as Program Manager at WAAW Foundation. He has been in the software development space for over 8 years delivering new and innovative solutions to several companies, including startups, and SMEs. He is very passionate about Training Young People and equipping them with software skills relevant for their future.
He is always open to learning and improving his skills as technology keeps changing. He is married and has 2 beautiful girls. He loves to read tech books and spends his spare time with family.
Business Development Officer
Elisha is a graduate of Mathematics from the University of Jos. He also has a Master’s degree in applied mathematics from the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi where he is currently running a Ph.D. program in Applied Mathematics, with an area of specialization in Numerical Analysis and Mathematical Modeling. Elisha has taught in a nursery school and Three secondary schools in Jos, Plateau state, and Benue state Nigeria. He has also worked as a Relationship Manager with the United Bank for Africa, UBA PLC, and also a Sales Associate with Polaris Bank Ltd and Cadbury Nigeria PLC. He has equally acquired Six certificates of Achievements with USAID, WHO, and UNICEF in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation, Health Cluster Coordination, Go. Data-Field data collection, After-action Review, Public Health interventions in Pandemics and Epidemics and Global Educational Cluster core1 Coordination. He has also served in various leadership positions as Assistant Pastor in Charge of Parish in RCCG in Benue state, NCCF Coordinator, and MDG sub-zonal coordinator in Gombe 2010
Elisha derives pleasure in teaching and impacting the youth.
Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Extension from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She joined WAAW Foundation in 2018 as a scholarship beneficiary, thereby, affording her the privilege of setting up a STEM outreach chapter at her University community. She carried out outreach programs to secondary schools which majorly involves tutoring and mentoring girls on STEM Education. Grace participated at the 2019 STEM teachers and fellows summit at Lagos, Nigeria where she was trained in Software development. Grace currently serves in WAAW Foundation as an intern and Volunteer Manager where she is responsible for volunteer recruitment, training, and support. She enjoys traveling and networking.
