WAAW Foundation 2021 scholarship beneficiaries

WAAW Foundation Supports 19 Outstanding Undergraduate Girls Studying STEM Disciplines in Colleges Across Africa.

WAAW Foundation is proud to support 19 outstanding undergraduate female students from 8 African countries for the 2021 WAAW Foundation Scholarship program
They have been selected from a pool of over 1,600 applications by an independent academic panel.
The scholarship supports underprivileged girls such as orphans, or girls from low-income families who demonstrate proven financial need while studying a STEM-related degree course. Scholars are mentored to become college-to-secondary STEM advocates, leaders and change agents, who give back to their communities and promote technology innovation for problem-solving. WAAW Foundation has supported 93 students from 23 African countries since the creation of this scholarship in 2007.
