VOLUNTEER OR TEACH IN AFRICA

Volunteers are critical to the mission and growth of WAAW Foundation.  Much of our success is attributed to the countless hours contributed by our volunteers.  Our initiatives rely on teams of dedicated volunteers doing their work both in the United States and several African countries (including Nigeria, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda).

We seek volunteers with expertise in STEM teaching, executive assistance, curriculum development, grant writing, program development and logistics, information technology,  monitoring and evaluation of education programs, quantitative analysis, computer programming, social media management, communications, and more!

If you are a STEM educator at any level, with a desire to help teach, develop curriculum or implement any of our programs from our STEM camp to STEM outreach programs in Africa, let us hear from you!

WAAW Foundation is always looking for qualified  facilitators and trainers with experience teaching Math, Science, Computers Programming or Roboticis to work with our teachers and youth ages 13-30 years old on real life problems in Africa. We focus on using affordable, locally sourced materials and hands on learning.

If you are interested in joining our STEM Camp team, helping develop Africa focused STEM curriculum for our STEM outreach fellows or other volunteer opportunities please fill out an application form here, and someone will get in touch with you shortly.
