You can help unlock a world of opportunity for an African girl or woman by doing something as simple as joining a social network, inviting friends to your house to watch a movie or hosting a WAAW fund raiser. There are several creative ideas on how to get involved.
The easiest way to support WAAW Foundation's work is to tell everyone you know about us. Take a minute to join our mailing list to receive periodic email updates on our mailing list, or post on our blog site which is an online community of supporters who share stories about the way WAAW is transforming lives in Africa. Join our Facebook or Twitter page, and recruit friends to help our online community grow. Subscribe to WAAW's Youtube channel, and share our videos.
There is no need to go it alone in your quest to raise money for WAAW Foundation! Here are ideas to expand your fundraising network and host a WAAW event.
Invite friends and colleagues to your house to watch WAAW's narrative and follow up with a fund raiser. You could also organize this at a bridal/baby or wedding shower. If you are a student, consider hosting a WAAW table at your international week or at the African Students Association week. We'll provide you with the DVD and all the supporting materials you need to make your screening a success.
